The first edition of Chinese Cuisines Meet Italian Wines has been presented in Beijing as a part of the program of the Italian Cuisine and Wines World Summit 2018.
The Guide has pointed out that Italy and China are two gastronomic superpowers and the marriage between Chinese cuisines and Italian wines is a win-win situation.
China delegation of AIS, that has partnered the Summit in the publication of the Guide, went through the most interesting pairings.
80 dishes from the traditional and contemporary Chinese cuisines (yes, plural), matched with 80 wines representing the diversity of the Italian oenological landscape.
Chinese tastes have changed and what was impossible some time ago, like the matchings proposed by the guide, are now trends-to-be in the near future and eight exceptional Chinese chefs have proposed their plates paired with Italian wines, as suggested in the guide.
This Guide is a milestone of the globalized world and food enthusiast from the years after, updated each year with new dishes and many more Italian wines.
