The Chinese Cuisines meet Italian Wines project has been presented at the “I love Italian wines” event, organized by the Italian Trade Commission (ITA) in Beijing (Conrad Hotel), under the direction of the dynamic Dr. Amedeo Scarpa. A the event, which has been also the first stop of the Vinitaly China Roadshow, there were many important Italian wineries, importers and distributors, wine traders, sommeliers and the participants to the wine seminars organized by ITA. Giovanna Gargiulo, the project manager, in her smooth Chinese, has given a sneak preview of the second edition of the guide which will be available, in its printed editions as well, from next October. Chef Felix Hue, Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, one of the talented chefs contributing to the second edition of the guide with his recipes, has prepared his homemade noodle with minced pork and diced eggplants. Cristiano Bernardi, sommelier representing AIS China, a main partner of the project, has matched the dish to a Banfi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2013. Castello Banfi winery is one the main winery partner of the 2019-2020 edition of the Chinese Cuisines meet Italian Wines guide. The same wine has been matched  also to the risotto, pumping and foie gras prepared by Amedeo Ferri, executive Sous-Chef of Beijing St Regis Hotel. Chef Ferri is one of the leader of the Italian Cuisine and Wines China Roadshow.
