BEEF JERKY WITH LEMON

Ingredients

- 120g beef jerky
- 10g lemon leaves
- 10g dried chillies
- 5g Sichuan peppercorns
- 5g sliced ginger
- 5g chilli flakes
- Salt, to taste

Method

1.Cut the beef jerky into bite-sized pieces.

2.Deep fry the lemon leaves until crisp.
3.In the same pan, fry the beef jerky until it releases its oils and crisps up. Remove and set aside.
4.Add the dried chillies, Sichuan peppercorns, and ginger, and stir fr y until fragrant. Return the beef jerky and lemon leaves to the pan, then season with chilli flakes and salt to taste.
