Winery

In Monferrato, a landscape of unspoiled nature and biodiversity, stands the Prediomagno winery.

The estate’s vineyards, a careful selection of the plots with the best soils and exposures, cover an area of over 22 hectares.

The brand new production facility is housed in a historic residence in the village of Grana, which has been carefully restored to high standards of energy efficiency. The cellar is equipped with an advanced monitoring system that allows the grapes from each vineyard to be separated and vinified in single tanks, so that the identity of each wine is respected.

The main grape variety is Ruché, in all its expressions and interpretations, accompanied by the other fine varieties traditionally produced in the region.

Pairings

Wine pairing notes

Ruche’ producers like introduce this wine of inimitable character as an ideal companion for Chinese dishes. And truly it can be. Intense, smooth, persistent, slightly aromatic with hints of wild berries it intriguingly pairs with the black garlic beef rib eye. The match with the stout but round taste of aged garlic covering the meat is easily won, however also the contest with the other spices (ginger, preserved black beans and dried chillies) is persuasive. Ruche’ has spices and black pepper as well, they are detectable in its finish and soundly combine with those of the dish.
