The Baracchi Estate is located on a beautiful slope just east of Cortona, under Tuscan Sun. Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet and Trebbiano: these are the grapes which liven up Baracchi wines. A tribute to the land of Cortona and to the pleasure of the good wine. An invitation to taste the evolution of an ancient family tradition.

Wine pairing notes

The firm tannins of this wine refresh the palate after each bite of the braised pig's trotters. The Syrah Riserva Cortona is big and bold enough to go with this earthy dish in which however there is also sea cucumber.

Wine pairing notes

With a dish of such a complexity like this, although not spicy, the Baracchi’s beautiful Cortona Tuscan Syrah has the power and the intensity of contrasting or accompanying the many flavours, from the land and the sea. Quite intriguing for the palate are the diverse matchings that the wine must face in the same dish. However thanks to its tertiary aromas from the maturation in wood mixed with the complexity of the Syrah grape bouquet and its elegant tannins this Riserva gives a unique boost to the tasting experience.
