Wine: Red
Region: Toscana
Vintage: 2014

Ageing: Oak Barrel for 10 months
Pure ruby-red colour. Fruity with cherry and strawberry notes. Some tertiary hints remind leather. Ripen red fruits, succulent, intriguing and long-lasting. Tannins are ripen and delicate. The aftertaste expresses a lively freshness with notes of dark red fruits, wet ground and wood.

Wine pairing notes

As much as daring it may sound, a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG like this San Lorenzo is characterized by ripe and soft tannins, exuberant fruit and medium acidity. In other words, it has all the attributes to contrast a spicy dish as the Chilli Fish Head and, at the same time, to contribute to its tasteful harmony.
