Pairings

Wine pairing notes

The good acidity and high tannins if this Brunello di Montalcino balance the slippery sensation of the stewed lamb. The high tannins also help to contrast the fatty texture of the meat.
The lamb leg has a delicate aroma, compared to Brunello di Montalcino. However, the wine don’t overwhelm the delicate final aroma of the lamb. The long lasting finish of the wine prolong the delicate spicy aromas of the stewed lamb leg.
